Jasano Brooks’ journey to founding Opya Studios began in 2018 with the establishment of a humble storage unit in the bustling Strip District of Pittsburgh. What started as a small dream soon blossomed into a vision for innovation and creativity.

With ambitious goals in mind, Opya Studios saw its first expansion to a larger, 1500 sq ft space in Regent Square. This move laid the groundwork for studio advancement and set the stage for future growth and success.

In 2020, Opya Studios found its current home in the vibrant Southside Flats, a spacious 2600 sq ft setting that provided room for expansion and creativity. The move signaled a new chapter in the studio's evolution, creating opportunities for reinvention and enhanced services. Over the years, Opya Studios experienced significant financial growth, boasting an 8% increase in revenue from 2022 to 2023, reflecting the studio's financial success and stability.

Diversifying its offerings, Opya Studios evolved into a multifaceted hub, now providing services such as content creation, equipment rentals, event hosting, and apparel. This expansion broadened the studio's reach and reinforced its position as a dynamic creative space.

Not only did Opya Studios establish itself as a market leader in Pittsburgh’s photography and creative scene, but it also surpassed local competitors, garnering recognition for its excellence and innovation.
